Testimonials
“Maureen was our educational consultant when we were looking for a solution for our daughter. We had tried other consultants and programs already so we had a better understanding of what we needed. We needed someone who could very quickly understand our daughter and give us options. Maureen’s ability to be kind and understanding as well as firm and decisive when needed was very reassuring. She made the best possible recommendation and was very focused on finding a program that had a therapist that would be the right fit for our daughter. That was the first time anyone really thought about that particular aspect. Maureen also stayed fully involved throughout the time our daughter was in the Wilderness Program, again something no one else had ever done. When the time came to decide what to do after that program, Maureen presented us with a number of options that met the therapists’ recommendations and our wish list. My daughter is doing dramatically better and Maureen was a big part of our journey. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is wondering what the next step is for their child.”
- Kathleen “Maureen was a wonderful resource for dealing with the issues we had with one of our children. When we would run into an obstacle with a school or individual we were trying to obtain services from, she provided her immediate assistance in resolving the issue at hand. Each time she became involved, the problem we faced resolved in the manner in which we had hoped for. Not only is she well-versed and respected in her industry, but she was also personable and attentive to our entire family. I would recommend Maureen wholeheartedly to anyone who is in need of her services.”

“Finding someone to help your child realize his or her potential can be a multi-layered process. It’s not always as basic as matching a child to a school or identifying a summer break activity that satisfies both parent (i.e., for the “educational” experience) and child (for the “cool” factor); it may involve supporting you and your child during a crisis. If you have not worked with an educational consultant before, contacting someone you don’t know only adds to the stress.
I took a leap of faith, however, and made such a call to Maureen Brennan nearly three years ago. Maureen quickly and professionally found a creative solution to support my fourteen year old son in an emergency situation. That wasn’t the end of the relationship, though. She partnered with our family post crisis to find the best school to fit our child’s profile and has continued to help by recommending great activities over break, keeping abreast of my son’s progress by checking in with faculty and other key individuals, or simply by touching base to see how we all are doing. I would never have believed that someone could make such a positive impact on a family until I met Maureen. Whatever your child’s situation, Maureen can help. Because she is such a great listener and knows so many professionals in a variety of fields, her advice is always prompt and practical. And she’s responsive, effective, calming and uplifting all at the same time. I don’t know how she does it, but I do know how grateful I am to have her in our lives. Thank you, Maureen!” - Sandra Peterson |
